PETROLEUM PRICING
|
Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, November 15, 2017
—
The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved
the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m.,
Wednesday, November 15, 2017:
-
Gasoline prices will decrease by 2.0
cents per litre (cpl); and
-
There will be no change in the price
of Furnace Oil, Stove Oil or Diesel at this time.
Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular
unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 116.6 cpl to
117.8 cpl. Pump prices for diesel will continue to range from 124.1 cpl
to 125.2 cpl.
The maximum price for furnace oil will continue to amount
to 87.2 cpl, plus tax.
As a result of an increase in supply, the wholesale price
of gasoline has moderated since the Commission’s last adjustment thus
enabling the reduction in price announced today.
The Commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be
on December 1, 2017.
