PETROLEUM PRICING

The Island
Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following petroleum
pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Tuesday, August 15, 2017:
- Diesel
prices will increase by 1.0 cent per litre (cpl);
- There
will be no change in the price of Gasoline, Furnace Oil, Stove Oil
or Propane at this time.
Including
adjustments for taxes, diesel pump prices at self-serve outlets will now
range between 109.3 cpl and 110.4 cpl. Regular unleaded gasoline at
self-serve outlets will continue to range from 106.8 cpl to 108.0 cpl.
Maximum before tax propane prices will continue to range from 69.9 cpl
to 71.3 cpl.
The maximum price
for furnace oil will continue to amount to 72.3 cpl, plus tax.
Increases in the
wholesale price of diesel over the past two weeks now necessitate the
price adjustment announced today.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be
on September 1, 2017.
