PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, April 1, 2017

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved
the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m.,
Saturday, April 1, 2017:

Gasoline prices will increase by 3.0
cents per litre (cpl);

Furnace and stove oil prices will
increase by 1.0 cpl;

There will be no change in Diesel
prices; and
-
Propane prices will decrease by 6.0
cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc., by 5.8 cpl for Irving Energy
Distribution and Marketing and by 6.1 cpl for Superior Propane.
Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular
unleaded gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 107.2 cpl to
108.3 cpl. Maximum before tax propane prices will now range from 73.8
cpl to 74.8 cpl.
The maximum price for furnace oil will now amount to 78.4
cpl, plus tax.
Increases in the wholesale pricing of gasoline, in
particular, related to increased demand coupled with supply
interruptions now necessitate the pricing adjustments announced today.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be
on April 15, 2017.
