PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, September 1
— The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved
the following petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m.,
Thursday, September 1, 2011:

Gasoline prices will
increase by 4.0 cents per litre (cpl);

Diesel prices will increase
by 3.5 cpl;

Furnace and stove oil prices
will increase by 3.0 cpl; and
-
Propane prices will increase
by 0.6 cpl for Superior Propane and by 1.5 cpl for Kenmac Energy
Inc. There will be no change in propane prices for Irving
Energy Distribution and Marketing.
Including adjustments for taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded
gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 123.1 cpl to 125.2
cpl.
Significant increases in wholesale market prices since the Commission’s
last adjustment necessitate the petroleum product price increases
announced today.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on September
15, 2011.
