PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, November 1, 2009
— The
Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following
petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Sunday, November
1, 2009:

Gasoline prices will
increase by 3.1 cents per litre (cpl);

Furnace and stove oil prices
will increase by 2.5 cpl;

Diesel prices will increase
by 2.0 cpl in the dealer pricing schedule and 3.0 in the commercial
consumer schedule; and
-
Propane prices will increase
by 0.7 cpl for Superior Propane, by 0.8 cpl for Irving Energy
Distribution and Marketing and by 1.5 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc.
Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded gasoline at self-serve
outlets will now range from 102.6 cpl to 104.7 cpl.
Continued escalation of wholesale market pricing of all refined products
necessitates the petroleum product price increases announced today.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on November 15,
2009.
