PETROLEUM PRICING

Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, October 1, 2009
— The
Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission approved the following
petroleum pricing decisions, effective 12:01 a.m., Thursday,
October 1, 2009:
-
Gasoline prices
will decrease by 1.5 cents per litre (cpl);
-
Diesel prices
will decrease by 1.0 cpl in the dealer pricing schedule;
-
There will be no
change in furnace and stove oil prices; and
-
Propane prices will increase by 2.5 cpl for
Superior Propane, by 2.6 cpl for Irving Energy Distribution and
Marketing and by 3.0 cpl for Kenmac Energy Inc.
Including taxes, pump prices for regular unleaded
gasoline at self-serve outlets will now range from 91.0 cpl to 93.1 cpl.
The Commission's next scheduled price adjustment will be on October 15,
2009.
